A woman in Minn. was fine $1.6 million dollars for illegal downloading and distribution of 24 songs, $80,000 fine per song. I wonder if I swat team came in and busted her door and arrested her at gun point. She is now the most expensive mp3 thief in ages. I think the Minn. court system just wanted to make an example outta her for the rest of the illegal downloaders, but come on sounds like the judge is living in fantasy land that thinks everyone can cough out a million dollars. The lady couldn’t afford 99 cents a download and now she is slap with $80,000 per download, wow I wonder how is she going pay for that, specially been a single mother. I gotta tell you, I don’t like illegal downloading, but they have to be reasonable punishments for this sort of piracy crime. I mean what is next? Sending all illegal downloaders to concentration camps!  I wonder if the exec said “Woh, Judge we just wanted her never to have a computer or cut her ears off (joking), or just a reasonable fine, But how is this broke lady going to pay us 1.6 million”. What’s next? They are going to appeal the verdit, maybe get a new judge that actually listens to what’s going on, We’ll how that goes.

So according to a web site/forum, we were the producers of the year when it came to chicano rap. That’s from people that voted in them poll/awards. I think it was a nice fun thing they did, since our genre of music doesn’t have people giving us awards. Well is the first morning of 2009, it’s actually 3:19am and I bearly got around to writing my goodbye 08 blog. You know is the first day of 09 when all the drinks you had are hitting you. Anyways 08 was another good year for KnF, we had our ups and downs like a roller coaster. We had life changing moments that effected us from then till forever, maybe it gave us a purpose to look at the bigger picture of life. I know some of you don’t know what I am trying to say, but if those whom know us, thank you for been there is the hard times. So People have been telling us, we are doing “big things”. Honestly I don’t really notice it, It has just become another day at the office. I look back at last year 08 and we have production on over 14 albums. We had a song on the radio this year, even if it was for a little bit it was on the air. How many of you can say that. Ofcourse that ain’t new to us, but it is always good to get that tiny shine. We made only one video, which was “We Come From The Valley” Starring Fiesty 2 guns, Some people didn’t like (Tools), but people that understand the creativity and innovation of C-Rap music videos know what the hell we are doing. Honestly, their wasn’t that much to really say about 08, I actually spit on it and kick it goodbye. Please God, Please!!!Bring us a good year on 09. Let this economy get atleast alittle better for those whom are struggleling, let these record sales pick up, let my people find jobs. Man, I don’t know whom is reading this or who reads our rants, but fuck that whole barking “2009 is ours” crap, come on homies you guys are sounding like broken records. Start taking action in your craft, start hustling till you drop, start doing SOMETHING to back up your so call “take over”. I tell you this because we are a factor in this game, and I tell you this because I want every single and one of you to be on top. Woke up today and realized that history just happened. A new president has been elected, and not just any president, the first black president in the history of America. You know what this means right? This country is no longer racist; well for the most part. Now will we get change or will the only change he will bring will be the color of his skin. It really doesn’t matter as long as we don’t have a 3rd bush administration style of government. Hopefully people understand that hard times are yet to come. The collapse of the economy will take years and like Obama said more then a term to recover. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be a part of history where America has another great depression. Is hard as it is right now for some people that are loosing their jobs. Hopefully change for the good does come, and come soon.

Vote 08. probably one of the most important times to actually take part in a government event. The votes will decide wether we will have 4 more shitty years or REAL change.

If you are into MMA or just slightly know what’s up with Kimbo Slice you know by now what happened last night. Millions tune in to see the “greatest fighter in MMA” well at least as been marketed by Elite X. I was at a party and it so happened they had the match on the big screen. So I am getting texts about Kimbo looking nervous or whom I going for. A drunken girl screaming by my ear “GO KIMBO!!!”
and every body stops to see this so called machine destroy another unknown fighter that is only known by the hardcore mma followers. Round starts Kimbo engages Petruzelli and right away Kimbo gets dropped by a jab following massive punches on the ground resulting the ref’ to be force to stop the match. Right then I was like “yeah!!!” while people around me, jaws dropped in disappointment. In my mind I was happy because the goose that laid the golden egg has been exposed. He was not a machine, he was not the greatest mma to step into the ring as many pop culture fans and kids think. That’s my whole hate on Kimbo; That people screaming “Go Kimbo!!!” and thinking he can beat anyone are plain idiots, yes I said it. I hated Kimbo because of that, but after he finally tasted defeat, I feel sorry for the guy. Elite X brought him up to quick and mass market him as the greatest, the beast, the machine, and no one can stop him. Kimbo was carrying the whole whack ass company that Elite X is, and now that he lost who knows if they will still be a company.
In closing for all you that are Kimbo fans he is a great street fighter no wait he is a legend street fighter. But MMA is a classy sports with people that sacrifices their bodies and dedicate their life to modifying their bodies superior form to be able to survive the rigorous punishment they go through in battle. Those MMA fighters are warriors in my eyes. Know the sport don’t be fool by circus acts that elite X has built.

 Side Note: Poor Guy (Kimbo), It’s not his fault that he was marketed that way. But he got paid real good, I mean real good according to sources. So hopefully he can bounce from this or if not hopefully he makes good investments with the money he earned.
